employing the latest in CADCAM technology to design and build new
products. Products are designed in consultation with growers to
ensure they meet demanding Australian conditions.
The company works closely with agricultural colleges, universities
and research institutions throughout Australia.
Skill sets within the design and technology division include mechanical
and industrial engineers, agricultural scientists and industrial
designers. To keep up with the latest in world trends Silvan regularly
attends overseas exhibitions to monitor new technologies and processes.
